Jennie Kim, known as Jennie, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actress. Born on January 16, 1996, she trained under YG Entertainment for six years before debuting as a member of the popular girl group Blackpink in 2016.
Jennie gained significant recognition for her solo debut with the single “Solo” in 2018, which topped Korean music charts and achieved international success. She has also ventured into acting, appearing in the HBO television series “The Idol.”
